Hello, who are we?
We’re a loose affiliation of smart, useful people who have known each other as friends and colleagues over many years in advertising, marketing, TV and feature films. More simply put: we’re highly experienced writers. We can help with whatever you need to say, hint, imply, state, articulate, explain, persuade…you get the picture. We’re word nerds.
(By the way, if you’re wondering about our name - there happens to be around 170,000 words in the English language).
Brands we’ve worked with.
Over the years we’ve worked with some of the biggest names. This isn’t to boast, just to say that we’re highly experienced people, who have had the chance to consider and at times crack, many complex problems. We can put this experience to good use. The issues often remain the same, it’s only the names that change.
How do we work?
We meet either in person or online; we listen and discuss - if you need something written, we’ll do that for you - beautifully. We can write ads, articles, website copy, pretty much any engaging content you need.
We operate an editorial system, a little like a magazine. Everything we write will have been proof-read, scrutinised and edited by another writer, before it comes back to you.
As well as words, we can help you with strategy and ideas of all kinds, and we have a welter of experience to draw upon.
We all know what you make - but are you as certain what
your customers are buying?
As Theodore Levitt pointed out many years ago: people don’t want a quarter-inch drill; they want a quarter-inch hole.
And for every product or service, there’s an equivalent
distinction to be made…”

DO AWARDS MATTER?
It’s always nice to get a pat on the back, especially from your contemporaries. We’ve won a few in the past (listed below). But of course, what really matters is not what we’ve done, but what we’re about to do… possibly for you?

“There’s no such thing as perfect writing, just like there’s no such thing as perfect despair. I often recall these words when I am writing, and I think to myself, ‘It’s true. There aren’t any new words. Our job is to give new meanings and special overtones to absolutely ordinary words.”

We’ll set up a call and you can tell us what you need. We’ll work with you if you need help articulating that need, or we’ll just listen very carefully.
-
We’ll take your brief and we’ll come back to you with a ‘professional’ version of it. This is where we all confirm we’re on the same page.
-
Once we’ve confirmed what you need we’ll get to work - this is where we make things happen for you, whether that’s words or pictures or even a film.
-
We’ll run it through our internal process and then come back to you. Editing is a creative superpower. We’ll pull you in where required but this is where we thrive.
